Camatta Ranch Meat Co.

Camatta Ranch is a historic, family-run cattle operation on California’s Central Coast, originally part of an 1846 Mexican land grant and stewarded by the Morrison family since 1978. With a deep commitment to land stewardship and traditional ranching, their cattle are raised on open pasture, producing high-quality, naturally raised beef rooted in generations of care and respect for the land.

Why Buy a Beef Share?

When you buy a quarter, half, or whole cow, you're getting restaurant-quality beef at wholesale prices. You'll save money compared to buying individual cuts at the butcher, and you'll have a freezer full of steaks, roasts, and ground beef ready whenever you need it.

  • 100% Pasture-Raised

Our cattle spend their entire lives outdoors on open pasture, grazing naturally on grass as nature intended.

  • No Hormones or Antibiotics

Raised clean from birth to harvest. We never use growth hormones, steroids, or routine antibiotics.

  • Dry-Aged for Flavor

Our beef is dry-aged for over 20 days, a traditional process that maximizes flavor and tenderness.

What's included in your beef share

  • Ground Beef

The most versatile staple in your freezer. Perfect for burgers, tacos, meatballs, chili, and everyday meals. Ground beef is usually about half of the share.

  • Premium Steaks

Ribeyes, New York strips, filets, sirloin, and more. These are the cuts that cost $20-40 per pound at the store, included in your share at wholesale pricing.

  • Roasts

Chuck roasts, rump roasts, and brisket for slow cooking, pot roasts, and BBQ. Perfect for Sunday dinners and special occasions.

  • Specialty Cuts

Short ribs, stew meat, shanks, and other cuts that add variety to your cooking. Discover new favorites you can't find in most grocery stores.
